Engineering Experience. Manufacturing Ambition.

Design-led fabrication, bespoke precision manufacturing and installation for residential, commercial and architectural projects.

Flood Ironworks was established by Tom Flood in 2002.

What began as a family-run metal fabrication business has developed into a specialist architectural metalwork and modular manufacturing company supporting some of Ireland’s leading contractors and developers.

More than two decades later, we remain a family-run business, but our capabilities, technology and manufacturing capacity have evolved considerably.

Today, our team of 25 operates from a new 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility, delivering modular balcony systems and architectural metalwork for major construction projects across Ireland and the UK.

Built for What Comes Next

Construction is changing. Greater emphasis on off-site manufacturing, programme certainty, quality assurance and efficient site operations is transforming how buildings are delivered. We have invested in our people, manufacturing capability and facilities to meet those changing requirements. Our objective is not simply to fabricate metalwork.

It is to become an integrated manufacturing partner to our clients, helping them move complex elements of construction into a controlled production environment where quality, scheduling and efficiency can be better managed.

Our Approach

Precision
Details matter. From drawings and measurements through to fabrication and installation, accuracy sits at the centre of our process.

Reliability
We understand construction programmes and the importance of doing what we said we would do, when we said we would do it.

Quality
Our EN 1090 Factory Production Control procedures support consistent manufacturing standards, documentation and traceability.

Partnership
The best results come from early collaboration between contractor, architect, engineer, manufacturer and installer.

Continuous Improvement
We continue to invest in our facility, equipment, processes and people to improve how we manufacture and deliver our work.

Sustainability

Manufacturing More Responsibly

Sustainability is an important part of how Flood Ironworks operates. We aim to minimise waste throughout our fabrication processes through efficient material planning, recycling and responsible waste management. Materials are sourced responsibly where possible and we continually look for opportunities to reduce energy consumption, emissions and our overall environmental impact. Off-site manufacturing also creates opportunities to improve material efficiency and reduce unnecessary site activity by completing more of the manufacturing process within a controlled environment.

We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing process and will continue to evaluate how improvements in manufacturing technology and working practices can reduce the environmental impact of our operations.

Bring Us Into the Project Early.

The earlier manufacturing and installation requirements are considered, the greater the opportunity to engineer a more efficient solution.
